Caring for our clothes, is caring for ourselves and our planet
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SWIMWEAR
Our swimwear loves to be turned inside out for a wash on 40ªc (or lower)
Do not let the swimwear left damp. Hang it or lay it flat until its dry.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR RESORTWEAR
Our resortwear pieces love to be hand wash in cold water. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Avoid rough surfaces.
MATERIALS
Beachwear requires very resistant materials that can be in contact with water, sun, chlorine, salt, and sand; that are fresh and stretch. These materials are currently synthetic. Our swimwear and resortwear pieces have mixtures in different proportions of rayon, elastane, polyester, and spandex. We believe that the future of swimwear lies in biomaterials, and the potential of our country to be pioneers in the field. That's why we donate a percentage of our profits to fund research projects.
FINAL DISPOSITION
Second Chance
When you no longer want your BAOBAB piece, try to find someone who wants it & can use it. You can also use your creativity to create a new garment. If you had an accident and your garment got stained or burned, bring it to the BAOBAB FOUNDATION Workshop to reform it.
Silica Bags
For exportations we are asked to use Silica Bags, but this plastic material is normally discarded in the first use. You can help us to avoid purchasing more Silica Bags, by bringing those that come out of your international orders or medicine bottles.
Shipping Bags
National shipping bags are biodegradable, they can be dissolved in hot water or in a common compost bin. For International shipping, bags are required to be plastic. As every country has different recycling policies, please find out what is the way to manage plastic in your country.
Coco Bag + Wrapping Paper
Use it and reuse it. Take it to the beach or to a party. When you don't want it anymore, you can compose it completely, along with the wrapping paper that comes inside.
